I have been asked to help some one to forward all his mail messages from Outlook exchange account to his Gmail folder.
So to achieve that you need to open your outlook.
Go to Tools->Rules and Alerts…

Then you need to create a new rule. in the window that popped up you click on the new rule button.

Then you get the rule window with templates in it.
Click on next and you get the default rule that you are about to customize.
Change the marked item in the list of “Step 1:” to “through the specified account”

Click on the first link in the “Step 2:” box.

Select the account you want to forward

Click on OK.
Then click on next and change the selection to “forward it to people or distribution list”

Go to “Step 2:” and click on the second link
In the window that opens type the email account you want to forward it to

Now click on OK and Finish.
That is it. test the forward with an email self addressed.

I have a new idea for a microformat that i haven’t found any matching format like.
Its for directory listing and may be can be extended to any listing.
Usually a listing is a simple thing like Google Directory listing:

looking at both of these examples i see a need to embark on a standard for a directory listing. this should be based on the hList to create the hDirectory.
So what should be in the hDirectory as a must? things that are optional in the hList… interesting.
# listing action. Should be a Directory tag.
# description. required. text with optional valid XHTML markup.
# item tags. required. keywords or phrases describing the item being offered, using rel-tag
# permalink. required.

things that are an optional but could be very important:
# version. optional. text.
# lister. required. hCard | (fn || email || url || tel).
# dtlisted. optional. ISO8601 absolute date time.
# dtexpired. optional. ISO8601 absolute date time.
# parent-directory. can be usefull and can rely on the rel-directory microformat.

So taking the idea to creation it should look like this

Yesterday i was enlightened by a Microformat structure for online shops. apparently Jay Myers from Best Buy have pondered some thing similar before me. so i think i am joining forces with him to get my wishes come true.

Does any of you own an online store? do you want to have a better semantic way to list your products?
So there is a need for a new Microformat.
I suggest to establish the hStore a new Microformat for an online store that will create a more semantic way to put the data in the store pages.
so what type of entities do we have in a store?
the lowest one is a Product. There is a brand, price, catalog number and specification to each product. The specifications can be arbitrary and are not standardized.
the Product is associated to Categories.
The categories can be associated into other categories so we can reach cascading categories.
what i am suggesting is something like this

I think that this way of setting up content will enable bots to get the information off e-shops and will make the likes of shopping.com and pricegrabber.com fetch data easily out of the web.
This might enable shops to make descriptive RSS feeds that enable consumers to register to a category of a store and receive all the products of that category in a fairly ordered way.

Reading newsweek i see that they have an article “Facebook’s Roar Becomes a Meow” by Daniel Lyons on Facebooks problematic business module of ad space.
But this model is pretty much all they had you might say.
Well… i think not. they could have add premium services or targeted businesses and organization at special services.
They could have added applications that you need to pay for and get the developer some premium on their work.
But the deal is that Googles business model is the one they chose.
Daniels point on the disturbance the ads generate in Facebook as oppose to the help they generate when attached to a searched and are relevant to the seeker is very important and might i say crucial.
The one model they might have benefited most of is letting external applications and developers connect through an API that carries a price tag on it so applications like Flock would pay a premium.
May be if you use the login API you pay nothing but only on other API’s? That could work and will open the net for a single peoples directory, a long needed resource.
This could generate  that will benefit every user in Facebook with more quality and every developer trying to make a buck.
But the war on MySpace was too important to facebook that they forgot to believe in their application strength.
My thoughts for a better Facebook

• Believe in your application.
• Remove the integral ads.
• Charge a premium for usage of applications and share it with developers.
• give the developers the ability to choose the payment and structure of charging, they know their app best.
• Develop more sophisticated ways to promote product, for instance get celebrities to become VIP fans of the products. Remember to coordinate the VIP user activities so they don’t slip
• Listen!

I know nothing about politics. i admit it i have no clue what is the presidential election all about and probably will never know. i think Obama will win but i am not to be taken seriously on the subject.
